初音ミク -Project DIVA- ねんどろいど Ver.

Miku Hook was the first I saw and targeted on YJA the very evening of WonderFest 2012 Summer.  She was pretty expensive as everything in the set was cast resin parts.  The face I selected was from GoodSmileRacing – Racing Miku 2011 Ver.
The Wolve on her head was cast in a very light brown, and had lots of air bubble, so I ended up priming and air-brushed it.  The yellow ribbons on her hood was masked and air-brushed.  Remaining of the yellow ribbons was hand brushed.  I thought about masking and air-brushing those too, but got lazy half way😄.

Water slide decals was also included in the kit…

The kit was very detailed, all the white skirt parts was cast separately.  Even Bow parts on her stocking was included and molded as separate pieces.

BIG BAD WOLF MIKU IS HERE… GRRRR!!!!

Next we have swimsuit Miku.  Mod parts are also from the same vendor, and was the 2nd item I scored from WonFest 2012 Summer.  Except she was MUCH CHEAPER than Miku Hood.  Since only the body was included in this modification kit, I had to go out and buy an extra Miku Nendoroid to complete the set.  So I selected the Cheerful Japan Ver. which includes the special happy smile face.

This mod kit was basically a plan body with three sets of swimsuit decals included.  The classic Miku Green Strip from Project Diva was selected (^^)

Had a bit of an accident with some tools and caused some paint to have scratched off on her bikini bottom (T_T)

Now, all three together, Magician Miku (WF2012 Winter), Miku Hood (WF2012 Summer), and Miku Swimswim (WF2012 Summer).

Thank you for looking….

    • Have you tried air-brushing? it’s actually pretty easy to master as long as you have a decent quality air-brush, and a good air regulator (which is cheap).. the rest is all on paint mixture ^^ I have been doing it for many years, but looking back at my first few work from almost 13 yrs ago, they still look good to-date. ^^ give it a try… it’s fun. Any questions you have feel free to inquire ^^

    • The vendor only sells at local Japanese Hobby events, so the only way to get a hold of them are either in person at the events, or use a proxy service to buy off of Yahoo Auctions Japan.. search for “アルスター生命”

      Hope this helps ^^
